School of Perfusion Technology
Students of the Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology are among the most dedicated and highly trained future allied health professionals in cardiovascular care. These post-baccalaureate students are immersed in a rigorous 18-month program that prepares them to become Certified Clinical Perfusionists. They gain extensive experience operating heart-lung machines and supporting complex open-heart surgeries, working alongside some of the world’s leading cardiovascular teams. Driven, collaborative, and committed to excellence, THI perfusion students represent the next generation of critical care specialists making an impact in operating rooms across the country.
