The social services we provide at DoctorsAct is inspired by our understanding of how social determinants like poverty and lack of education affect health. From experience through our Beauty in Small Deeds medical missions, we realized that, screening the population and providing treatment for their ailments was not enough. Notwithstanding our limited resources, we do not only take care of the diseases we identify, but, also look for the root causes of the poor health states and design services that can bridge the gaps in equity and equality.
