Dream Alive Scholarship Fund
The Dream Alive Scholarship Fund for needy but brilliant students in the communities DoctorsAct visit on its annual Beauty in Small Deeds missions (BISD).
Our very first beneficiary is Ms. Vera, is currently studying medicine at the University of Ghana. She was selected after a careful screening of applicants from the Sefwi Anhweaso Traditional Area in 2016. There are currently a total of two beneficiaries with the second being young lady from Oda Nkwanta who came first in a 'Spelling Bee' competition we organized during our 2018 BiSD.

The scholarship caters for tuition fees of beneficiaries mainly form high school through to the university (1st degree). The idea is to help empower these individuals through education and mentorship from the young professionals at DoctorsAct.
Eligibility
1. Be a resident of BiSD beneficiary community.
2. Must have a strong academic ability and financial need.
3. Comply with other criteria set by the management of board at the time of the award value of the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship
1. Approved tuition fees in a public institution.
Payment to Beneficiaries
Fees will be paid directly to the institution.
Continuity of Scholarship
The Dream Alive Scholarship shall be awarded for one academic year. Renewal and continuation of awards shall be dependent upon maintaining a good academic progress. Students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 70/100 to qualify for renewal of the award.

Funding
Currently DASF is being funded by the Board Executives of DoctorsAct on a quarterly basis. To make this fund sustainable and improve accessibility, we appeal to you to help. Contributions can be made online.
