Beauty in Small Deeds Project (BiSD)

Focus areas: Diabetes, hypertension, sexually transmitted infections, eye and dental health.
Calling on team players from all sectors passionate about improving health in deprived communities.
The Beauty in Small Deeds project is an annual project of DoctorsAct. The week long project, in conjunction with the selected communities, seeks to address the health problems of rural individuals and establish innovative, sustainable community projects with the aim of improving the quality of life in these communities.
During the week long project, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team young team that will visit 5 selected rural communities to provide standard medical care whilst measuring our outcomes.
