The Executive Board of DoctorsAct is central in the governance, supervisory, and execution of the organizations’ activities. The Board’s roles and functions are set out clearly in the Constitution of DoctorsAct and are reviewed regularly and incorporated into the Board Handbook. Specific matters reserved for the Board’s consideration and decision include:

• Determining the organization’s objectives, missions, strategies, policies and plans and monitor their implementation.

• Recruiting, supervising, retaining, evaluating and deciding on compensation packages of management team members.

• Ensuring the integrity of the organization’s accounting and financial reporting system and compliance with the relevant laws and standards, and that appropriate internal control systems are in place, including systems for risk management, as well as financial and operational control.

• Approving quarterly and annual budgets of DoctorsAct. ​
